Our first Lox n’ Learning was a great success!

A crew of B’nai Jacob members and visitors from sister congregations met up at the synagogue for a delicious bagels and lox breakfast followed by a full-day fun-filled bus trip to the Gomez Mill House and Royal-Kedem Wineries in New York State. The Gomez Mill House was the first Jewish residence in the American Colonies. We had an interesting lecture and then a tour of the house itself and the mill and pond.  This was followed by a drive up Route 9W to the Royal-Kedem Winery where we ate lunch and shopped for kosher wine.

Dylan Lemmon Grabs Torah. Is Hagbah Next?

On November 20th, 2010, Jessica and Alan Lemmon celebrated the naming of their gorgeous (and smart) daughter, Dylan, at B’nai Jacob. The house was packed with family, friends, and well-wishers who participated in the service and a festive kiddush. Babies (and parents) always welcome in our warm and inviting sanctuary.
